Last Day of January!

I can hardly believe that January is over already! Where does the time go? It just moves faster and faster the older I get!  Today was the "official" last day of Semester 1 and Semester 2 begins tomorrow.  Unfortunately, it won't be starting with a positive vibe due to a whole bunch of junk going on--which I really don't want to get into.....Suffice it to say, things are tough right now being a teacher. I know lots of people think that it is an easy job, with great pay and great vacation.  It is a good job, but it isn't easy.  Also, it needs to be a good paying job so we can attract good people for the job. It is an important job but I don't think the public sees it that way. It usually doesn't bother me, but it was just a crummy day that today it is bothering me. I'm glad that there is only 1 day and then the weekend. Although, I will be spending time on the weekend getting organized for next week, but I also hope to get in some time to be creative and take my mind off of the situation. Phew............

January 30th!

Ya, so I decided to look at my blog today and can't believe the last time I posted. Holy Moly!! Then I scrolled down to see when I actually started the blog and can't believe that it was almost 3 years ago! Where in the heck did the time go?????
So no more promises, I will attempt to make more regular posts although nobody is really following it, so it really doesn't matter! LOL But it is kind of nice to go back and read things that were going on and if I could do that on a consistent basis it might help me with My Weekly Layout I'm supposed to be doing with a couple of ladies at the Nook.  I am hoping the fact that Jodi & Gillian are doing this will spur me on to doing it too! I did start last year and wouldn't you know it--I didn't get past the end of January! LOL And now I'm starting at the end of January. Do you think anybody would notice that they don't go together! Ha, ha! Just kidding! I will make an attempt to follow through with it, but I keep forgetting to take photos of stuff to use. All I can do is try and maybe one day I will continue with it.....
So first semester is almost done (tomorrow) and sem 2 starts Friday. A new batch of kids in a grade 9 class and another group of grade 11's in chemistry. Looking forward to a new group of students--it always renews me during this hum drum time.  I'm also being evaluated this semester so have some work to do on preparing for that.
Have also done some cleaning and reorganizing of my scrapping space--time to pitch some stuff I think! Some papers that are a little on the musty side and will never be used most likely, although I might take them to school and see if I can use them there. We'll see. I may be able to salvage the stickers and give them to Aleks for Serbian School. Not sure......
