December 2!

Yes, it is December 2nd already! Wow! I have broken out my Christmas earrings and wore green yesterday. I have photos for my first 2 pages in my December Daily album. The first one I'm cheating a little on, because I am using photos of the girls decorating the tree from last Saturday, but I did take a photo of the tree yesterday--so that counts! For today, it is a photo of my advent calendar that I made this year! It turned out great!! See for yourself! I used BoBunny! I love how it turned out! I am also following Tim Holtz's 12 tags of Christmas! I haven't had a chance to do any yet since I am finishing up my stuff for the Secret Santa at the Nook! December Already!!!

Man on man, I can't believe that tomorrow is DECEMBER 1st!! Where has the time gone! I have to say I am in good shape for Christmas.
The house is pretty much decorated!
I got my Advent Calendar done! (Need to fill it tomorrow--oops!)
Have the first couple of pages done for my December Daily.
Have all shopping done for my Secret Santa pal at the Nook and just need to finish up 1 thing!
Most of my shopping is done!
Got a bunch of stuff on order over the net.

I'm ready for December!!!

HARRY POTTER!!!!

Whoo hoo! We went to see Harry Potter last night. All I can say is awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed it, although it was over too fast and I can't WAIT for the second part! I wish it was coming out BEFORE July 2011!!! That is just too long to wait!!!

My reports are all FINISHED! A day early--that is unheard of for me! Usually, I'm working right til the end to get them done! But I have verified them and I feel great! That means my job for tonight is to get stuff ready for my class on Monday since I am taking a leave day. Unfortunately, I will not be able to play at the Nook for the Online Crop because we are shopping! But I hope to do some stuff tomorrow night possible. And the crop goes til next weekend, so I will hopefully get some stuff done then! I am also planning a scrap night with a friend next Friday, so I hope to get either my December Daily (Ali Edwards!) or my advent calendar done. We will see!

Super Sunday!

Went to the Nook today in Welland for a class with Vicki Boutin! It was awesome!!! We made a beautiful printer tray from 7 Gypsies and mine is already to go as soon as I get some photos for it! Once I do, I will post a photo of it! Thanks to Janice for having Vicki at the Nook and to Vicki for an amazing class--as usual!

So much to do!

Well it has been a busy weekend already! I got up in good time Saturday morning to go and do the groceries. I was out by 10 and back by 11! Fortinos was not busy at all! Got the groceries put away with help from dh and then had a chocolate crossainte (spelling???) YUM! Off to see Tammy and have my hair done! Got home and took the dog for a walk! I'm doing pretty good with the walking--I think it has been about 4 weeks we have been going almost everyday! Then I had a little nap before dinner and then went down to play in my scrap space. I made 3 Christmas cards using the ideas that Gramma Dee has been sharing at the Nook and was going to do a layout, but Caitlin & her friend were cold and wanted a place to come in and hang out. So I came upstairs and did some marking that needed to be done & did some comments for my reports that are due next Friday. I'm ahead of the game! Hurray! Now I can really enjoy Vicki's class tomorrow at the Nook! I will share photos with that if I get it done! LOL

Whoo hoo! 2 days in a row! Here is a great card idea that Dee put up on the Scrapping Nook--she is the guest designer for the next 3 months and is going to keep us hopping through November & December!!!

So I have been doing some layouts recently using photos of the girls when they were much younger than they are now. Been having lots of fun with that. I have a whole stack of photos to scrap when I get some time. Boy my girls were SOOOOO cute!

Some of the layouts I am doing for me and others for their books. When I started scrapping, I started individual books in 8 1/2 x 11 size for each of the girls (What was I thinking?? LOL) I think once I fill in the gaps, I will just have a "Family" album and they can figure out when I am long gone! LOL

WoW, so long since I posted on here! It seems TracyM from the Nook boards has found my blog! LOL I need to sit down and try to change some things up, but never seem to have the time! Well, that might be a lie, because I certainly waste enough time on line playing games and chatting with scrapping friends! If I set my mind on it, I probably could get some stuff done!
Anyway, home sick today--just feeling off with an unsettled stomach. Maybe my body telling me to slow down as it has been pretty hectic around here. So I think I will take advantage of the time I have and head downstairs to see if I can create something! Once again the Nook is having an online crop and there are lots of great challenges! I'll see if I can create something and even try posting it here! Hope everyone (or anyone who sees this blog LOL) has a fantastic fall weekend!

Been away for a few days

So, it has been a few days since I posted. I still am not sure how I am supposed to change the size of my header--I need to figure that out! Nothing much has been happening--but I haven't been feeling too well the last couple of days. I think the illnesses of last week with the girls have caught up with me! Anyway, this Friday I am going to Scrapfest and I am really looking forward to that! It is supposed to be rainy on Saturday, so maybe I will get some more time for scrapping then! I hope so! The Scrapping Nook is having another one of their Weekend Online Crops and I want to participate in it for a change!!! Well, I have been playing around trying to get my header to be not so big, but I'm not having much success. This was the best I could do so I'm leaving it for now. I may ask my blogger friends how to change it another day.

I'll put in another photo and this is where we stayed in Florida during our March Break. It was a condo right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico. We had a great time, even though the weather was not the best that we have ever had. It was a relaxing time though & I love going to Florida!

I managed to get the time corrected on my blog--so baby steps! I would like to get creative with it, but all in due time I guess!

Whoo Hoo 2 Days in a Row!!!

So, here I am posting 2 days in a row! Not much happening around here! Jenn stayed home again today--she's recovering from the flu. Caitlin was gracious enough to offer to stay home with her, but she has already missed 2 days of school this week battling the flu first. Jenn is pretty much back to normal so hopefully the weekend will be good--unless Jeff or I get it!! Fingers crossed!!!
Hoping to do some scrapping and have marking to get done. Mid-term reports are due next Friday!
